Job Description Responsibilities Market information Shall review the needs of industry and inform management on the changing needs of industry. Shall lead in industry data collection. Seed Evaluation Trials Shall lead in planning and implementation of seed evaluation trials. Shall be responsible for data collection and writing of technical report on evaluation trials. Marketing & Sales Coordination Seed Promotion: shall promote seeds & production techniques through advertisement (radio,online), demonstrations, fairs, farmer visits, etc. Sales: shall coordinate sales and payments of Meridian Seeds products. Channel Development: shall grow a network of seed distribution channels involving input dealers,industry associations, processors etc. Networking: lead in building relationship/network with various industry stakeholders (NGO’s etc.) that MSN can leverage on for seed promotion and sales. Technical Advisor & Quality Control Advisory services: shall provide agronomic & business development support to farmers & others. Quality control: shall train and support input dealers improve on handling and marking of seeds. Management of Customer Complaints: shall investigate and communicate Others: Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Required Skills or Experience Education & Experience BSc Agricultural Science or Agricultural College Certificate, At least 2 years working experience.
