Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Head of School to lead the launch and growth of Graceville International Christian Academy.

This founding leader will play a critical role in shaping the school’s academic direction, culture, systems, and reputation, ensuring excellence in both educational standards and spiritual formation.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Strategy
Provide overall leadership and direction for the school
Develop and implement the school’s vision, mission, and strategic plan
Build a strong Christ-centered school culture
Academic Excellence
Oversee curriculum development and delivery (preferably international standards)
Ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes
Monitor student performance and continuous improvement
Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise teaching and administrative staff
Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence
Lead performance management and professional development
Student & Parent Engagement
Promote a nurturing, safe, and disciplined environment
Build strong relationships with parents and stakeholders
Represent the school in the wider community
Operations & Administration
Oversee daily school operations
Ensure compliance with educational policies and standards
Support admissions growth and school development initiatives

Requirements
Master’s Degree (or strong Bachelor’s) in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
Proven experience in a school leadership role (Head, Principal, or equivalent)
Strong understanding of international curricula (Cambridge or similar is an advantage)
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
A committed and practicing Christian with strong moral values
Experience in school start-ups or growth environments is a strong advantage
International exposure is highly desirable
