Job Title: Procurement Officer

Localisation

Job Summary The Procurement Officer supports procurement operations at DSR Numan by managing day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier engagement, and documentation. The role ensures compliance with procurement policies, supports the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, and enables continuous availability of materials for agricultural, factory, and fleet operations.

Responsabilités

Key Responsibilities (Duties & Responsibilities) Identify, prequalify, and engage approved suppliers, especially for agro-services, spare parts, and field operations. Request and evaluate quotations from vendors for both operational and project needs. Prepare comparative bid analysis and recommend cost-effective and technically suitable options. Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for accuracy and completeness. Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP MM. Coordinate approval workflows and ensure timely issuance of POs. Follow up on order confirmations and monitor delivery timelines to site. Liaise with logistics, warehouse, agriculture, and finance teams for delivery tracking and invoice processing. Support local sourcing and vendor development to improve supply reliability within the Numan region. Maintain accurate procurement records in SAP and physical files. Generate procurement reports, spend analysis, and vendor performance reviews. Support contract administration and supplier relationship management. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and internal controls. Support audit activities by providing required procurement documentation. Key Focus Areas (Numan Specific) Agricultural inputs and chemicals procurement Fleet and heavy equipment spares Local vendor development and engagement Site logistics coordination

Expérience

Competencies Required (Qualification & Experience) Competency Level: Level 2 – Contributing / Intermediate

B.Sc. or HND in Engineering, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Economics, or related field Experience: Minimum of Two (2) years of procurement experience Experience supporting field/agricultural or plant operations is an advantage

SAP MM proficiency Vendor management and contract administration Basic negotiation and cost analysis
