You as the Education Officer will provide professional technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the programming process for education programmes/projects within the Country Programme, from development planning to delivery of results, preparing, executing, managing, and implementing a variety of technical and administrative programme tasks to facilitate programme development, implementation, programme progress monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Summary of key functions/accountabilities:
Support to programme development and planning Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results Technical and operational support to programme implementation Networking and partnership building Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building

Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Education, Psychology, Sociology and any other related fields. Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Research, Program planning, Management, Research in Education. and any other related fields. Skills: Analytical, Negotiation, Resource Management, Team Supervision, Strategic Thinking, and Risk Management skills are required. Language Requirements : Fluency in English is required
Desirables
Language: Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
Project monitoring, Site Supervision, Quality Assurance, Construction Technology, Experience in a Multicultural Environment, Teaching Certificate, and two years’ experience as a teacher are assets.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
