The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a Programme Policy Officer to lead a comprehensive Community Engagement Assessment in Nigeria. The role involves mapping community structures, identifying barriers to participation, and understanding gender dynamics to develop a Community Engagement Action Plan, Communication Strategy, and Gender Dialogue Manual. The successful candidate will work closely with various units to ensure that community feedback informs program decisions and enhances accountability to affected populations. This position requires a strong background in community engagement, gender equality, and humanitarian programming. Advanced degree in Social/Behavioral Sciences or related field 8-10 years in community engagement or gender equality Experience in food security or humanitarian programming Strong understanding of conflict sensitivity and protection principles Experience in developing assessment and research frameworks Good facilitation and communication skills Ability to engage with diverse communities Excellent writing skills Data literacy for feedback analysis Languages: English, Hausa, Kanuri (highly desirable) At Impactpool we do our best to provide you the most accurate info, but closing dates may be wrong on our site.
