Reporting to the R&D Director, this role combines hands-on laboratory research, experi Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: No Experience/Less than 1 year Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Central Region, Ghana Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the development of petroleum-based and bio-based resin technologies for industrial applications. Design, execute, analyze, and document laboratory experiments with strong scientific rigor and attention to detail. Develop, optimize, and validate new formulations, test methods, and experimental approaches aligned with business objectives. Interpret experimental results and provide technical recommendations to support product development and commercialization. Prepare and communicate scientific findings through technical reports, presentations, training sessions, and industry conferences. Write, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and laboratory documentation. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams. Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Technical Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. 0–5+ years of experience in polymer synthesis, formulation, characterization, or application development. Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Polyols, Polyurethanes, Epoxy resins, Unsaturated polyester resins, Fiber-reinforced composite materials (e.g., fiberglass composites) and other industrial polymer systems Strong understanding of polymer chemistry and structure–property relationships.
