We advocate for measures to give children the best start in life, because proper care at the youngest age forms the strongest foundation for a person’s future JOB SUMMARY Minimum requirementsEducation: Advanced university degree (Master`s) in one of the following fields: Gender Equality Studies, International Development, Social Sciences, Public Health or a related field.Work Experience:At least 8 years of strong technical skills in gender equality programming or researchProven experience in supporting country programme teams in gender equality and/or social inclusion assessments or reviewsDemonstrated experience in using the evidence base on gender equality to shape and implement programmesSkills:Strong technical expertise in gender equality programming or researchAbility to apply evidence-based approaches in programme design and implementationKnowledge of gender equality and social inclusion assessment processesLanguage Requirements: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong interpersonal and presentation skillsDesirables:Substantive and programmatic experience in gender equality and/or adolescent girl programming, with an understanding of social change.Sectoral experience in the areas of child survival and educationExperience undertaking research or programme work in NigeriaExperience with UNICEF or other UN agency programme planning RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED SKILLS Communication, Ability to coordinate, Reporting REQUIRED EDUCATION Post-graduate education
