Find a Job + + + + Search W Electronic / Electrical Engineer At Rig World International Services Limited WORLD RIG Engineering & Technology 3 weeks ago Accra & Tema Region Full Time Confidential Share link Share on WhatsApp Share on LinkedIn Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share via SMS Job summary Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Job descriptions & requirements Our client, a multinational and one of the largest offshore drilling companies in the world, is looking to recruit qualified and experienced Ghanaians to unlock their potentials and build a life changing career by applying for the position of:- Electronic / Electrical Engineer Qualification Required & Experience A minimum of HND or degree in electrical / electronic engineering or electronic instrumentation A minimum of two (2) years work experience as an electronic engineer Knowledge of technical calculations required for electronic operation of the drilling unit Advance knowledge in computer skills Should be able to read electrical schematics/drawings QHSE Carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and pre-tour meetings required Report any incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situations to supervisor and other department heads Actively participate in weekly safety meetings and pre-tour meetings as required Ensure that all relevant safety procedures and practices are adhered to during mechanical maintenance work Assist in ensuring that a high standard of hygiene and house-keeping is maintained onboard the rig. Duties & Responsibilities Carry out daily inspections and maintenance on electronic equipment Carry out periodic maintenance according to Maintenance Systems (RMS) guidelines and co-ordinate that maintenance with supervisor and other department heads Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic systems including dynamic positioning, communication, data acquisition, computers and navigational equipment Assist in carrying out installation, calibration, and modification of electronic systems and components Assist with the implementation of the outstanding recommendations from audits, as issued by clients, Regulatory Authorities or Rig Management. Communicate equipment problems or breakdown information via direct supervisor to fiel support group.
