The National Site Engineer will oversee the implementation of solar-powered irrigation and water infrastructure systems for a food security project in Northern Ghana. This role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards, and preparing progress reports. The engineer will work closely with the FAO project team and contractors to resolve technical challenges and monitor project timelines. The position requires a strong background in civil engineering and experience in irrigation systems and site supervision. Advanced University degree in relevant engineering field Registered engineer with a recognized professional body At least five years of relevant field experience Two years of site supervision experience Working knowledge of English (Level C) National of Ghana Proficiency in MS Office and project management software Experience in contract management for civil works Knowledge of construction methods and safety standards
