Read more about this company Field Technician Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 2 years Location Abuja Job Field Engineering / Technical   Duties includes: Install and configure remote monitoring systems at client sites. Ensure proper integration of hardware and software components. Conduct initial testing to verify system functionality. Perform regular maintenance checks on monitoring equipment. Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues. Provide technical support to clients, addressing any system malfunctions or performance issues. Monitor and analyze data collected by remote systems. Ensure accurate data logging and reporting. Implement data backup procedures to prevent loss. Provide training to clients on how to use and interpret data from the monitoring systems. Respond to customer inquiries and technical support requests in a timely manner. Conduct site visits for hands-on support and troubleshooting. Implement firmware and software updates to enhance system functionality. Upgrade hardware components as necessary to maintain system performance. Ensure all installations and maintenance activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Maintain detailed records of system installations, maintenance activities, and service reports. Document all troubleshooting and repair activities for future reference. Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless operations. Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and resolve any issues. Stay updated with the latest advancements in remote monitoring technology. Propose and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Participate in training programs to continuously develop technical skills. Be available for on-call support during emergencies or critical system failures. Quickly respond to and resolve urgent issues to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities. Implement security measures to protect the integrity of monitoring systems and data QUALIFICATIONS B.ENG/BSC/HND In engineering or sciences (Electrical, Mechanical, Physics or Computer) Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical operations as an engineer or technician preferably in the telecom sector. Relevant certifications in engineering are an added advantage. Knowledge of the use of computer and working with software is mandatory. Ownership of operational vehicle is mandatory.
