How You’ll Make an Impact as an Airport Security Screening Officer

Protect the safety of thousands of travellers every day Conduct passenger and carry-on baggage screening in compliance with national aviation security standards Safeguard restricted areas by maintaining strict access control Respond promptly and professionally to security alerts, alarms, and potential threats Accurately document and report incidents, violations, and safety concerns Support coordinated emergency response operations when required

Qualifications Required For An Airport Security Screening Officer

Be legally eligible to obtain required aviation security clearance (RAIC), which requires Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency Minimum 18 years of age Secondary school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of background checks with a clean criminal record Bilingual proficiency in French and English Ability to work on-site at the Mississauga airport location
