A reputable public institution is seeking to recruit a highly qualified, experienced and results-oriented professional for the position of Director, Administration and Human Resource
Job Purpose
- To provide leadership, technical and administrative direction t ensure the efficient and effective performance of the administration and human functions of the organisation
Responsabilités
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide technical input for the formulation and review of policies
- lead the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities of the Directorate
- Ensure the effective and efficient management of the human, material and financial resources of both the Directorate and the organisation
- Lead the development and implementation of administrative and human resource management policies, systems and manuals for the organisation
Formation / DiplĂ´mes
- Oversee organisational design, human resource planning and the development of an effective human resource management information system (HRMIS)
- Coordinate, monitor and review training and development policies, programmes and plans of the organisation
- Ensure the development review of succession planning mechanism and smooth staff exit processes
- Lead the development implementation and review of welfare, health, safety disciplinary and ethical policies
- Maintain effective relationships with relevant Ministries, Departments, Agencies and other stakeholders on administration and human resource matters
- Oversee the organisation of meetings, conferences, similar and workshops
- Coordinate plans to ensure the availability of resources to support the activities of the organisation, including estates, transport, ICT and logistics
- Lead the development, implementation and review of compensation management policies for the organisation
- Collaborate with government institutions, international bodies, public and private sector partners and other stakeholders in carrying out the functions of the Directorate
- Oversee the implementation of the Performance management within the organisation
- Ensure the preparation of budgets, work plans and periodic reports of the Directorate
Qualification Required & Experience
- A minimum of a master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or any other related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution
- Must be a member of a relevant and recognised professional body
- A minimum of 10 years post-Bachelor's relevant work experience, 5 years of which must be at a senior management level in a reputable institution
High level of integrity and ethical standards
- Strong leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong conflict management and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Ghana's financial management laws and regulations
- Good working knowledge of relevant IT applications
