MEL OFFICER

📌 The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer at Mercy Corps will oversee the collection of quality MEL data for various programs. This role involves supporting the Senior MEL Officer in monitoring and data collection, leading surveys, and analyzing data to provide insights for project teams. The MEL Officer will also develop MEL plans, ensure data quality, and build the capacity of team members and local partners. This position is crucial for maintaining effective monitoring and reporting processes across multiple program sites. BA/S in economics, statistics, or related field 1-3 years MEL experience Fluent in English; knowledge of Hausa and Kanuri preferred Experience with EU or USAID funded programs Skills in data collection, entry, verification, and analysis Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office Team coordination and consensus building skills
