Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator at CHAI is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the country office. This role involves processing transactions, tracking budgets, managing cash, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and donor requirements. The Coordinator will supervise the Finance Assistant and ensure that all financial documentation is accurate and well-organized. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to prepare financial reports and support budget preparation. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Qualified Accountant (ICA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) or pursuing qualification Minimum 3 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in NGO Experience managing donor funds and preparing financial reports Proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of integrity and accountability
