Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Manager based in Cape Town. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance team, ensuring the effective implementation of preventive maintenance plans, conducting equipment repairs, and managing overall maintenance systems. This role involves supervising the team, scheduling maintenance workflows, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and optimizing the performance of equipment and infrastructure. The Maintenance Manager will also troubleshoot issues and work on strategic initiatives to enhance facility efficiency and reduce downtime.

Strong Supervisory Skills, with experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating workflows Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime Expertise in Maintenance Management, including planning, organizing, and overseeing maintenance activities Hands-on Maintenance & Repair skills to address critical breakdowns and troubleshoot complex technical issues Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to ensuring efficient operations Familiarity with safety and compliance standards related to facility maintenance Relevant technical certifications or a degree in facilities management, engineering, or related fields are a strong advantage Experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector is beneficial Free.
