Race Coast is seeking a Race Day Promotions Manager who will manage and be accountable for the Race Day Promotions Officers of the 2 KZN Racecourses. The Race Day Promotions Manager will oversee the training and the employment of approximately 10 Customer Assistants, 2 Shop Employees and 6 Casual Staff for 2 Play Centres.

What You'll Do Prepare the Official Race card covers for both KZN and WP and co-ordinate all marketing content for KZN. Brief and liaise with the Advertising Agency on the details for the covers and any below the line advertising for adverts and promotions for race days. Liaise with the Race Card Division. Manage the 2 Race Day Promotions Officers and Customer Assistants, co-ordinate with them at their respective Racecourses. Oversee all Fundraisers and their race days. Jointly meet with any potential race day Sponsor – Corporate Race days. Liaise with the Golden Horse Casino, always being mindful of opportunities for any joint promotions with the casino that can be of benefit to Race Coast KZN i.e., their birthday celebrations etc. Head the Promotions team with the planning and execution of the promotional and events side of the Golden Horse Casino Sprint Race Day, the Pink Drive Race Day and any corporate race meetings with promotional and eventing aspects.

Organise all presentations, from the purchasing and engraving of the mementos to the planning and execution of the presentations on race days. Arrange and co- ordinate the entertainment for race days such as Night Racing, school holiday race days and feature race days.
