RECRUITMENT NOTICEIdentificationJob Title: Finance Officer, INTERSOS The deadline for submitting applications is 26/12/2025 at 5 p.m. Relates to: Hierarchical: Field ManagerTechnical: Finance ManagerDuty Station:BamendaType of contract:Fixed-term contractAvailability:January 2026Missions and ResponsibilitiesGeneral objectivePlan and execute the day-to-day accounting, financial and administrative activities for the projects as well as for the NGO's annual budget according to INTERSOS protocols and standards to ensure optimal management of financial resources.Specific tasks:Accounting and budgeting●Accounting operations according to INTERSOS' accounting standards by ensuring transparency and full traceability of the record (invoices, receipts, bank statements, etc.)●Manage bank accounts and prepare monthly bank statements and cash-to-bank reconciliations on time. Prepare payments by check, bank and online platform and prepare tax returns based on journal record and field entries●Contribute to the management of the mission's liquidity to optimize cash flow requirements●Provide the accounting journal to the Information Technology Accountant on a weekly basis (if applicable)●In collaboration with the Financial Coordinator, provide support in drafting budgets for new projects and support statutory annual audit/project procedures●Support the Financial Coordinator in the preparation of the Mission's Cost Recovery Tool respecting the sustainability of the proposals and the financial and economic forecasts●Support the Finance Manager in the regular verification of the economic and financial status of the projects (final balance sheet, forecasts and projections and expenditure surpluses) and regularly inform the Field CoordinatorHR policies, procedures and reports●Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, support managers and staff on human resources policies and procedures and monitor the implementation of rules in accordance with internal regulations and labor laws●Assist the HR Field Officer in collecting all HR documents in the field and ensure that they are sent to the main HR office on a regular basis for proper archiving.●Provide support in the event of an audit, under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager in the fieldSupply Chain Management and Procurement●Plan, coordinate, supervise and prioritize base procurement activities. Implement the appropriate tools and procedures●Leverage local purchases (tenders and direct purchases) of goods and services in compliance with INTERSOS and donor requirements●Track payments from all suppliers and collect all necessary supporting documents from them, i.e. receipts and delivery notes. Ensure that prior to any payment, all originals are at the coordination office.●In collaboration with the Logistics Coordinator/Procurement Manager and the Portfolio Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the effective use of IMS and inventory accounting.●Follow the defined procurement plan and coordinate with project staff●Follow up on land purchase requests for the National Logistics Manager and calls for tenders and/or any other purchase that cannot be made locally●Collaborate in the preparation of the monthly logistics reportAsset Management●Support for the purchase, use and maintenance of IT assets, office and project equipment and communication tools,●Oversee the regular audit of fixed assets on a quarterly basisTransportation Management●Ensure that the INTERSOS fleet management model, movement safety protocols and brand identity manual are applied in the database, that the fleet is checked and maintained regularly, and that vehicles are insured and taxes are paid.Compliance●Support the preparation of i
