The WASH Technical Advisor will provide strategic and technical leadership for high-quality WASH programming in Nigeria. This role involves supporting program design, implementation, monitoring, and learning while ensuring alignment with Mercy Corps' global standards. The Advisor will engage in proposal development, contribute to program innovation, and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams. Additionally, the position requires active participation in coordination forums and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance program impact.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related WASH field

Minimum 10 years of experience in WASH programming

Experience in emergency WASH interventions

Demonstrated proposal development skills

Strong knowledge of WASH programming best practices

Practical field experience in crisis response settings

Experience in capacity building and training

Willingness to travel to challenging security environments

Familiarity with major humanitarian donors

Fluency in English
