Together, we seek to protect and restore natural habitats, stop the mass extinction of wildlife, and make the way we produce and consume sustainable.For our Impact Programme for Integrated Forest Landscape Management in the Congo Basin (GEF 7), we are looking for a dynamic and committed Communication Intern.Reports to: GEF 7 IP Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning SpecialistLocation: Yaounde, CameroonDuration: Six (06) months, renewableMission of the Department:The project entitled ‘Impact Programme for Integrated Forest Landscape Management in the Congo Basin - Cameroon Component’, commonly known as GEF Project 7, aims to strengthen the integrated management of Cameroon's globally significant forest landscapes in the Congo Basin to ensure their biological integrity and increase economic opportunities and livelihoods for forest-dependent populations. Over a six-year period, the project addresses the main drivers and constraints of deforestation, forest degradation and biodiversity loss through an inclusive and integrated approach that aims to achieve and maintain the effective participation and empowerment of indigenous peoples and local communities (IPLCs) and strengthen their resilience. The project is being implemented across the Cameroonian segments of three transboundary landscapes: (i) the Campo Ma'an-Rio Campo landscape (769,446 ha), particularly around Campo Ma'an National Park; (ii) the Tri-National Dja-Odzala-Minkebe (TRIDOM) landscape (4,949,174 ha), and (iii) the Tri-National Sangha (TNS) landscape (1,490,552 ha), particularly in and around Lobéké National Park. This is achieved through five components, including component 5, which is: ‘Monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management and regional coordination.As part of its efforts to raise its profile and promote its activities, the project is recruiting a professional intern to support internal and external communications, particularly digital communications, in line with the communications plan developed in 2023.Major functions:The intern's main objective will be to contribute to:•Improving the visibility of the project among partners, authorities, donors and communities.Producing and disseminating high-quality communication content.•Supporting the capitalisation of results, good practices and lessons learned.•Strengthening the project's digital and media presence.Major duties:The intern will be responsible for:1.Content production•Writing articl
