Read more about this company Blocks Production Officer (Blocks and Machinery) Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 years Location Abuja Job Field Construction & Site Engineering   , Engineering / Technical   Salary Range ₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month Job Summary: The Blocks Production Officer will support the Production Officer in overseeing the daily operations and manufacturing processes for the production of Mshel building blocks and machinery. The role involves assisting in coordinating production schedules, monitoring quality control, troubleshooting operational issues, and helping to optimize production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Support the Production Officer in leading the manufacturing team and overseeing all aspects of the production process. Help develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and meet project Timelines. Monitor production activities and identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and quality Assist in the implementation of quality control measures and protocols to ensure products meet specifications. Troubleshoot equipment problems and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly. Provide training and guidance to production staff on proper operating procedures and safety protocols. Analyze production data and provide reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the Production Officer. Conduct routine checks on machinery and equipment, reporting faults or irregularities promptly. Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Inventory to coordinate production needs. Recommend process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance overall operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
