Key Responsibilities Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies. Continuously review and enhance collection processes to maximize recovery rates. Analyze customer data to identify patterns and trends in delinquent accounts. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the collections team to achieve targets and objectives. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members. Set clear performance goals and monitor team progress. Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the company's loan portfolio. Review and categorize delinquent accounts, implementing appropriate collection actions. Establish and maintain appropriate collection policies and procedures. Communication and Customer Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints regarding collections. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines while interacting with customers. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on collection performance for management. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collections. Legal Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection. Ensure all collection practices are compliant with legal requirements.
