Read more about this company Site Supervisor Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND , Professional Certificate Experience 2 - 5 years Location Lagos Job Field Construction & Site Engineering   Salary Range ₦200,000 - ₦300,000/month We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Civil Engineer to serve as a Construction Supervisor in a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved engineering designs and quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and hands-on site management experience across residential or real estate development projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities on site from foundation to finishing Interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings accurately Ensure construction works comply with approved specifications, codes, and engineering standards Coordinate site operations, including artisans, laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers Develop and monitor work schedules to ensure timely project delivery Conduct routine site inspections and enforce strict quality control measures Monitor material usage, minimize wastage, and ensure proper site resource management Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on site at all times Identify, report, and resolve technical and site-related challenges promptly Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management Liaise with consultants, architects, quantity surveyors, and project stakeholders Ensure proper documentation of site activities, including site diaries and inspection records Support project planning, budgeting, and cost control where required Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory construction requirements Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (B.Eng or equivalent) Must be a qualified Civil Engineer with strong site experience Minimum of 2–5 years proven experience in building construction supervision Strong knowledge of structural works, reinforcement, concrete works, and finishing processes Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and BOQs Strong leadership and site coordination skills Excellent communication and reporting abilities High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability Proficiency in project documentation and site reporting COREN registration or in progress is an added advantage Experience in real estate or residential development projects is highly desirable.
