It contributes to making sport safer, more ethical, and accessible to all. Within the Division, the Secretariat of the (the Macolin Convention) supports the implementation of the Convention, which strengthens cooperation to prevent, detect, and sanction the manipulation of sports competitions. The team also serves as Secretariat of the (Group of Copenhagen), which brings together the coordinators of the national platforms provided for in Article 13 of the Macolin Convention and facilitates the exchange of information, experiences, and expertise. The Group of Copenhagen is an advisory body to the Monitoring Committee and is also supporting the establishment and development of national platforms. Your Role As the Programme Manager, you will be Co-Secretary of the Monitoring Committee of the Macolin Convention (T-MC) and you will: Co-ordinate the international network of national platforms (the Group of Copenhagen), in accordance with the guidance of the Follow-up Committee (T-MC), in close co-operation with the Secretariat; Co-ordinate the monitoring of major international competitions, in particular the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the Americas; Prepare for and follow up on Bureau, plenary and working group meetings, and ensure that the outcomes are reported back to the Follow-up Committee; Strengthen the establishment, effective functioning and further development of national platforms, notably through working groups; Support capacity-building activities and contribute to consolidating the Macolin community; Propose and lead research and surveys on matters relating to the fight against the manipulation of sports competitions, including illegal websites, money laundering, addiction and underage gambling; Contribute to other meetings and activities of the Monitoring Committee of the Macolin Conventions; Contribute to the performance of other assigned specific tasks, particularly in relation to intelligence sharing, data analysis and cooperation with authorities responsible for investigations and prosecutions in other areas of sports integrity. Requirements to apply You must : have the support of the member State seconding you to the Council of Europe; hold a higher education degree or qualification equivalent to a master’s degree ( ) particular in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or in Public Administration; have at least 4 years of relevant experience in intergovernmental and multi-stakeholder cooperation on sports integrity (public authorities, sports organisations, organisers, betting operators); have a very good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the Council of Europe (English or French), and be willing to learn the other once in post; be a citizen of on of the member States of the Council of Europe.
