The FAO Investment Support Officer position focuses on providing analytical and technical support in areas related to agricultural development, economic and financial aspects, and rural infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with governments and stakeholders to formulate and evaluate investment policies and programs aimed at transforming agrifood systems. The officer will participate in multidisciplinary teams, support capacity development, and promote knowledge sharing. This position is based in Accra, Ghana, within the West and Central Africa Service of the FAO Investment Centre. Advanced university degree in relevant fields Five years of relevant experience in agricultural/rural investment operations Working knowledge of English and intermediate knowledge of another FAO language Experience in formulating and evaluating investment strategies Ability to write technical reports in English Experience with FAO's development partners is desirable
