Job Description

EPBWA is looking for a dedicated Camp Supervisor to ensure our labor camps are safe, well-provisioned, and operationally ready. You will own the logistics so that our field teams can focus 100% on the plantation.

THE ROLE

The Camp Supervisor manages day-to-day camp operations, including catering, facilities, and procurement. You enable the on-time deployment of crews by ensuring everything from breakfast to bedding is ready before the sun comes up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilities Management: Oversee accommodation, sanitation, water supply, and routine maintenance of camp essential facilities.

Meal Service: Ensure cooks are ready and breakfast is served before 05:30 daily.

Stock Control: Coordinate procurement, manage inventory for food and PPE, and maintain clear documentation (GRNs/Stock cards).

EHS Compliance: Enforce safety standards, conduct inspections, and maintain fire readiness in camp settings.

Administration: Maintain organized records of occupancy, meal counts, and maintenance logs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Camp-based, on-site presence required. Early start to meet 05:30 readiness daily.

Occasional after-hours work for urgent maintenance or deliveries.

Required Skills or Experience

Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality, Logistics, or Facilities Management.

3–5 years’ experience in camp, hostel, or site management operations.

Working knowledge of EHS standards (food safety, fire safety, sanitation).

Strong organization skills and reliability for early-day readiness.

Integrity and consistency in enforcing camp codes of conduct.
