Job description AI & Business Operations Analyst tma is hiring an AI & Business Operations Analyst to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys business analysis, operational problem-solving, AI tools, automation, consulting-style work, and turning complex processes into clear business improvements.

You will play a key role in conducting AI Opportunity Audits for small businesses, identifying operational inefficiencies, automation opportunities, revenue gaps, and workflow improvements that can help businesses scale more effectively.

Location

Sandton, Durban, Cape Town or Kenya Work Setup

100% office-based Working Hours

Working hours: 3pm to 12am Please note that working hours may shift slightly due to daylight savings time changes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conducting operational and workflow research across businesses Reviewing websites, customer journeys, lead flow, admin processes, scheduling systems, reviews, and marketing operations Identifying AI and automation opportunities that improve efficiency and profitability Calculating ROI opportunities and business impact Creating clear, client-facing audit reports and recommendations Collaborating with leadership and technical teams on implementation planning Contributing to process improvements, templates, scoring systems, and audit frameworks

What We’re Looking For

Strong analytical and operational thinking skills Experience in business analysis, consulting, operations, RevOps, agency environments, or process improvement roles Understanding of AI tools and automation workflows Familiarity with platforms such as HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Calendly, Jobber, ServiceTitan, Podium, or similar tools Strong written English communication skills Ability to simplify business problems into actionable solutions Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Nice to Have

Experience supporting US-based SMBs Knowledge of sales, marketing, operations, or revenue workflows Experience with Make.com or Zapier Client-facing consulting or agency experience
