Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosages, and potential side effects. Ensure all prescriptions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Pharmaceutical Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels of medicines and medical supplies. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. Ensure proper storage of medications according to safety guidelines. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: Adhere to pharmacy laws, policies, and ethical standards. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, stock movements, and controlled substances. Assist in reporting adverse drug reactions and medication errors. Support to Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provide drug-related advice to medical staff when needed. Participate in training and continuous professional development. Customer Service & Communication: Address patient inquiries regarding medications and health products. Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction. Handle complaints and escalate complex cases when necessary. General Administrative Duties: Assist with pharmacy billing and insurance claims where applicable. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Keep up to date with new drug developments and guidelines. Required Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field. Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy is an advantage. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer literacy (e.g., pharmacy management software).
