KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for a Senior officer, Supply Chain & Sales Integration The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

The Senior officer,  Supply Chain & Sales Integration is responsible for ensuring effective integration between Smelter Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Sales functions. The role ensures: Timely availability of materials and spare parts Optimized inventory levels and warehouse efficiency Seamless coordination of Sulfuric Acid and Anode Copper production plans with Sales Early identification and resolution of cross-functional risks You will have the following: Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline Must have at least 5 years’ experience in smelting, mining, heavy industry, or complex processing operations Must have experience in cross-functional coordination across operations, procurement, and sales Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous. Role Profile Knowledge DRC legislation Understanding smelter operations Understanding and networking with Supply Chain, Sales Experience across the range of functions that fall within the portfolio   Technical Skills Relevant computer literacy, report writing, preparing presentations Budgeting Communications Personal Competencies should include: Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to: Safeguard production continuity, improve material efficiency, enhance working capital control, and enable Sales execution without operational disruption. Supply Chain & Procurement Coordination Inventory & Warehouse Optimization Operational Material Alignment Sales Integration – Sulfuric Acid & Anode Copper Cross-Functional Risk Management Finance and reporting- Monitor costs/expenses to achieve cost efficiencies and reduce waste People - Manage self and show up as a good team player Ensure optimised customer experience and service throughout the value chain HSEQ Implement the HSEQ plan for the Business area Skills Transfer and Transformation Manage reporting and Governance for area of responsibility When applying, please submit a PDF version of your CV together with certified copies (certification within a 3-month period) of your ID/passport, drivers' license and qualifications.
