The Cashier is responsible for managing the cash register and ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of financial transactions at the point of sale. He or she ensures the accurate distribution of funds in accordance with internal authorizations, maintains accurate records of cash register transactions, and ensures compliance with financial and internal control procedures.

 Key Responsibilities / Principales Responsabilités

Operational & Functional

• Greet customers with courtesy and professionalism

• Process payments (cash or other forms of payment)

• Accurately record transactions 

• Ensure the accuracy of amounts collected and change given

• Keep the cash register up to date and perform daily cash closings

• Manage authorized disbursements in accordance with internal procedures

• Verify and retain supporting documents (invoices, vouchers, tickets, receipts)

• Report any discrepancies or cash variances to management

• Comply with security, confidentiality, and internal control policies

• Maintain an organized and secure workstation

Effectuer les opérations d’encaissement (espèces, ou autres moyens de paiement)

Saisir correctement les transactions 

Assurer l’exactitude des montants encaissés et rendus

Tenir la caisse à jour et effectuer les arrêtés de caisse quotidiens

Gérer les décaissements autorisés conformément aux procédures internes

Contrôler et conserver les pièces justificatives (factures, bons, tickets, reçus)

Signaler toute anomalie ou écart de caisse à la hiérarchie

Respecter les règles de sécurité, de confidentialité et de contrôle interne

Maintenir un poste de travail organisé et sécurisé

 

 

Profile Required /

English

Bac+2/3 or its equivalent in accounting or a related discipline. 

Minimum three (3) years of experience is required. 

Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards)

Experience with systems (SAP, or similar)

Ability to manage and maintain supporting documents

Record transactions and quickly identify discrepancies or cash register anomalies. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate analyses clearly

Attention to detail

High ethical standards and integrity

Bac+2/3 ou son équivalent en comptabilité, économie ou autre discipline connexe. 

Minimum trois (3) ans d’expérience de travail pertinente. 

Maîtrise avancée d’Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, formules, dashboards)

Expérience avec les Logiciels (SAP ou équivalent)

Aptitude à gérer et conserver les pièces justificatives

Enregistrer les opérations et à détecter rapidement les écarts ou anomalies de caisse.

Esprit analytique et capacité de résolution de problèmes

Capacité à communiquer des analyses de manière claire

Capacité à prêter une attention particulière aux détails. 

Normes éthiques élevées et intégrité. 

Bonnes aptitudes à la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles.
