The role ensures accurate, timely, and safe analysis following industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 2 years Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct chemical, physical, and mechanical testing on oil, gas, and petroleum-related samples. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as spectrometers, chromatographs, viscometers, and hardness testers. Record, analyze, and interpret laboratory data accurately, maintaining detailed logs and reports. Assist in sample preparation, labeling, and storage following proper safety and quality protocols. Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments. Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, API, and other industry testing standards. Identify deviations, report anomalies, and recommend corrective actions. Support the laboratory team in audits, inspections, and quality control procedures. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment adhering to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards. Qualifications & Requirements Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Technology, or related field. 1–3 years of laboratory experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector is preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methods, instrumentation, and safety protocols. Familiarity with standards such as ASTM, API, ISO, or equivalent. Good data recording, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and laboratory software. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
