The role involves supervising field staff, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 5 years Job descriptions & requirements Key Responsibilities Site Operations Management Supervise and coordinate day-to-day field activities. Ensure work is executed according to project plans, drawings, and specifications. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager. Allocate tasks and resources efficiently to meet deadlines. Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly maintained. Team Supervision Lead and manage site workers, subcontractors, and technicians. Conduct toolbox talks and daily briefings. Monitor workforce productivity and performance. Address on-site conflicts and resolve operational issues promptly. Train and mentor junior staff where necessary. Health, Safety & Compliance Enforce health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Ensure all personnel use appropriate PPE. Report incidents, near-misses, and hazards. Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards. Quality Control Inspect ongoing and completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Identify defects or deviations and ensure corrective action. Ensure adherence to technical specifications and industry best practices. Maintain quality assurance documentation. Reporting & Documentation Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and attendance records. Record material usage and inventory levels. Document delays, site issues, and variations. Submit weekly/monthly performance reports to management. Coordination & Communication Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and suppliers. Coordinate deliveries and subcontractor schedules. Attend project meetings as required. Ensure effective communication between site and office teams. Budget & Cost Control Monitor resource utilization to minimize wastage. Report cost overruns and recommend corrective measures. Assist in tracking project expenses and maintaining cost control. Required Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Relevant trade certification (where applicable). Valid driver’s license. First Aid and Safety certifications (advantageous). Experience 3–5+ years of experience in site supervision or field operations. Proven experience managing teams on-site. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Good organizational and time management skills. Basic computer skills (MS Office, project management tools). Working Conditions Primarily field-based. May require working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Occasional overtime and weekend work depending on project deadlines. Travel between multiple project sites may be required. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Project completion within timelines.
