Role and Responsibilities

As a Graduate Assistant in Primary Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching, research, and administrative activities of the department. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Teaching Support: Assist senior faculty members in delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate courses in primary education, curriculum development, and child psychology.
• Research Assistance: Collaborate on ongoing research projects related to early childhood education, pedagogical innovation, and inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this Graduate Assistant position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree (B.Ed or equivalent) in Primary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a closely related field from a recognized university.
• A minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) division is preferred.
• Strong academic record with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in academia and research.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology tools.
• Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a postgraduate program (Master's degree) is an added advantage.
