Executive Chef
Establish the hotel's culinary reputation through exceptional food quality, innovative menus and an outstanding kitchen brigade delivering superior guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Leadership & Team Development
• Lead and develop the kitchen brigade for consistent excellence.
• Implement effective succession planning strategies.
• Design menus exceeding guest expectations while meeting brand standards.
• Ensure high• quality food production across all hotel outlets.
Guest Relations & Issue Resolution
• Build positive relationships with guests, staff, suppliers and contractors.
• Resolve kitchen• related issues swiftly and completely.
Operational & Financial Management
• Manage kitchen operations including budgeting, forecasting and waste control.
• Optivise costs while maintaining premium standards and profitability targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire and food safety regulations.
• Maintain adequate staffing aligned with business demands.
Quality Control & Menu Development
• Regularly review menus with F&B manager to align with market trends.
• Monitor food control systems proactively to achieve margin targets.
• Reduce food waste through systematic programs.
• Actively collect guest feedback and respond efficiently.
Staff Management & Communication
• Conduct monthly team communication meetings with minutes.
• Manage staff performance per company policies.
• Recruit, train and develop kitchen personnel.
• Maintain strong cross• departmental relationships.
• Create weekly/monthly schedules compliant with local legislation.
Required Profile
• Proven Executive Chef or high• performing Sous Chef experience in luxury properties.
• Exceptional leadership and team motivation skills.
• Creative culinary expertise with business acumen.
• Fluent French (mandatory); strong English preferred.
• Excellent planning, organisation and multitasking abilities.
• Valid culinary trade qualification.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Management certification advantageous.
