The Economic Recovery and Development Cash and Livelihood Officer at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) plays a crucial role in implementing cash assistance and livelihood activities in the Extreme North region of Cameroon. This position involves fieldwork to identify target communities, build relationships with local authorities, and oversee project activities such as beneficiary selection and distribution of cash assistance. The officer will also support community mobilization efforts and ensure compliance with IRC standards. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of humanitarian interventions. Degree in economics, international development, sociology, psychology, agronomy, or nutrition 3-4 years of experience in NGO project implementation Strong understanding of beneficiary identification and registration processes Experience working with local organizations is a plus Skills in business training and plan development Ability to multitask and work under pressure Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork Fluency in French and Fulfulde
