Finance Executive - Akwa, Douala

We are looking for a Finance Officer on reduced basis to take charge of the payables function of the Company.  Our ideal candidate should be familiar with posting supplier invoices and periodic settlements, audits, and demonstrate interest in managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations and other general accounting postings. You should also have excellent organizational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive tasks. Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the supplier purchases process, including accuracy in supplier invoice postings. Responsible that suppliers are paid correctly and on time. Prepare accruals and prepayments monthly in preparation of the monthly management accounts. Post and process journal entries. Analyze internal accounting procedures, policies and controls whilst suggesting improvements where needed. Assist in end of month closing procedures. Assist in preparation and submission of VAT returns. Collaborate with auditors during the end of year audit.
