Read more about this company Video Editor Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 2 years Location Lagos Job Field Media / Advertising / Branding   This role combines on-location video editing , quick-turnaround content creation , and collaboration with field teams during shoots, interviews, and events. You’ll be responsible for capturing the TravelTube experience visually — transforming raw moments into stories that inspire and engage our growing community. Key Responsibilities Work closely with producers and the marketing team to capture and edit engaging video content onsite. Edit travel, event, and promotional footage into high-quality videos for TravelTube’s social media, web, and in-app use. Create short-form videos optimised for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and TravelTube’s native video feed. Apply transitions, effects, motion graphics, subtitles, and sound design to enhance storytelling. Work under tight deadlines to produce same-day or next-day video edits for events or travel campaigns. Assist in organising and maintaining video files, footage, and backups. Ensure consistent branding, tone, and quality across all video content. Capture behind-the-scenes moments and collaborate with influencers or travellers featured on TravelTube. Requirements Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a video editor (preferably in travel, media, or lifestyle content). Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro , Final Cut Pro , or similar editing tools. Ability to edit on-site using a laptop or portable workstation. Familiarity with colour correction , motion graphics , and sound editing . Good sense of storytelling, timing, and visual rhythm. Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and creativity. Passion for travel, media, and digital storytelling. Preferred Skills Experience shooting or assisting in video production (camera operation, lighting, or drone footage). Knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve. Experience editing for short-form platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts). Photography or social media content creation skills are a plus.
