Job Title: Cleaner/Cook
Location: Yaoundé (Omnisport, Essos, Ngousso, Fouda)Salary: 40,000 XAF (Negotiable)
Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to manage daily cooking and cleaning duties for one of our clients. The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and meal preparation in a private household.
Key Responsibilities:
Cooking Duties:
Plan, prepare, and cook healthy and delicious daily meals.
Conduct grocery shopping, ensuring the selection of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
Operate and manage all kitchen activities, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards in food storage and preparation.
Cleaning Duties:
To ensure all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and floors, are thoroughly cleaned and dusted.
To clean and sanitize all bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and mirrors.
To maintain the kitchen by cleaning countertops, appliances, and ensuring dishes are washed and put away.
To manage waste by emptying all trash bins and ensuring proper disposal.
To keep floors throughout the home clean by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming as appropriate
Requirements:
Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a cleaner or cook
Good understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen safety.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Must be an Anglophone or proficient in English.
Minimum education: Ordinary Level (OL).
